Mark is a man of few words. In describing Jesus' baptism, he simply gives us the facts.  This might lead one to whiz by and declare "Not much to see here"!. Yet, if we slow down, we find within his concise description several beautiful and significant "Anchor Moments." These are moments that prepared Jesus to face the challenges ahead and may provide us with parallel Anchor Moments to draw upon ourselves.
