VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

FRASER VALLEY GLEANERS. Fraser Valley Gleaners takes donated produce and makes it into dry soup mix to feed the hungry around the world. We are a faith-based non-profit organization that relies on volunteers and donors for our ministry to run. We invite individuals to help any morning. Our regular volunteer hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-noon. Gleaners is closed on stat holidays. The work is suited to all ages 12 years and up. The majority of our volunteers are from the senior community who are retired and have the time. Refreshments are provided at coffee time. All necessary equipment such as aprons, knives and gloves are provided. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. (No open-toed sandals or flip-flops). Masks are required. Bring your enthusiasm to do the work of converting our excess produce to feed the hungry around the world!
