THANKSGIVING OFFERING

Here are the 3 projects we’re giving towards this year:

CYRUS CENTRE - Compassion Fundcyrus

24hr shelter, services and support to youth in need. Locations in both Abbotsford and Chilliwack.

Our "Compassion Fund" allows us to step in and help youth with specific needs as and when they arise. This could be anything from dental work, a pair of glasses, transportation back home or to attend an important event etc. These expenses aren't part of our day to day operating budget so we are reliant on our community of supporters to help fund this initiative.

Multiply - Missionary Leader Gathering

multiplyEmerson is a great resource to MBs throughout Canada, especially with the ONMB leadership team. He's working in about 20 countries, plus half a dozen in Africa. He sends hundreds of youth out on mission each year. Emerson has it on his heart to hold a regional gathering of missionary leaders from Central America in early 2026.

ALL STARS IN AFRICA

asiaAll Stars in Africa continues to serve children and youth living in the slums through sports, mentorship, and spiritual growth. One pressing need is the replacement of the community basketball court, a space that provides safe recreation and weekly engagement for young people. The current backboards are in disrepair, and funds are being raised to install new poles and fiberglass boards by the end of 2025. Another major focus is the annual All-Stars Kids Camp, held every December and welcoming 70 to 100 children and youth. All expenses are covered so that no child is turned away due to financial hardship. This year’s camp carries special significance, as it will include the ministry’s first baptism service at the beach—an opportunity to celebrate youth who are ready to take this important step in their faith journey. We give God the glory that through these initiatives, lives are being shaped, strengthened, and transformed.
