Kids Camp Leader / L.I.T. Info

You must be at least in Grade 6 to apply for an L.I.T. position and have permission from your parent or guardian. Space is limited on our team for Grade 6-7 students. Everyone who applies will be considered.

Sunday, June 9 (time tba) - Kids Camp Training
Tuesday, July 2 (time tba) - LIT Training
Sunday, July 7 (time tba) - Final Prep/Prayer
July 8th-11th @ 8:00am-1:00pm - Kids Camp Days 1-4
July 12th @ 8:00am-3:00pm - Kids Camp day 5 (timing TBD for end of day, stay tuned for details)

Our schedule will be determined closer to the start of Kids Camp. Kids Camp will be 9am to 12pm for the kids. We will have our large group at the beginning and at the end our day, and will move through stations (games, crafts, mission station, small group) through the morning.

DECOR TEAM - Help create/design visual elements for our space. (if you are interested in joining our decor team, dates will emailed asap)

SNACK TEAM - Purchase and prep snacks for each day (we can reimburse you as well, unless you would like to donate this to us for Kids Camp as a special contribution)

STATION/GROUP LEADERS - Check off what you are interested in below

STATION LEADER - Crafts (teach, set up, and keep organized the prepared crafts for small groups of kids - may have multiple crafts in one day to cater to various age groups)

STATION LEADER - Games (run games for the small groups including set-up, explaining, and participating as needed)

STATION LEADER - Missions (engage the kids in pre-planned missions activities)

STATION LEADER - SNACKS (set up and hand out snacks to groups as they rotate through)

SMALL GROUP LEADER - Work directly with a group of kids for the week, leading them during and between activities and helping each kid to have fun, be included, and learn about Jesus

LARGE GROUP LEADER - Help to oversee and lead the worship/large group time (roles here include leading songs/dancing, teaching a Bible story, etc., so we will be in touch about those details after we process your application)
