What is a Community Group?
A Community Group is a group of people who have decided to live life together with Gospel intentionality. They meet regularly during the week to discuss and apply God’s Word to their lives, pray, and share everyday life with each other.
Why do we have groups?
We have groups because we are committed to doing what Jesus sent us to do: to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). Groups are one of the primary ways we seek to help people encounter and grow in their relationship with Jesus alongside others who are on the same journey.
Types of Groups
We recognize that people are different and connect with others differently. To help every person find a place to belong and grow, we have four types of groups:
3s and 4s - Smaller, tight knit groups of 3 to 4 people
Small Groups - Medium size groups of 8-12 people
Mid-Size Groups - Larger groups of 20+ people
Explore Groups - A space to ask real questions about the basics of following Jesus
What do the groups do?
There’s no one size fits all approach to what a group does but each group incorporates essential elements into their life together: eating together, singing and playing music, talking about the Bible, praying, serving, and having fun together, all in the context of everyday life throughout the week.
